Jesus = God… SO
Jesus = Love… ALWAYS
We are called to be Jesus
For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. – Rom 8:29
Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. – 1John 2:6
Jesus was not NEED led – He was Spirit led
Jesus was not affected by people’s expectations
Jesus controlled and stewarded Himself
But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, because He knew all people, and because He did not need anyone to testify about mankind, for He Himself knew what was in mankind. – John 2:24-25
matter
“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs – beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people’s bones and all sorts of impurity. Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness. – Matt 23:27-28
One day as Jesus was teaching the people and preaching the Good News in the Temple, the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the elders came up to Him. They demanded, “By what authority are You doing all these things? Who gave You the right?” “Let me ask you a question first,” he replied. “Did John’s authority to baptize come from heaven, or was it merely human?” They talked it over among themselves. “If we say it was from heaven, He will ask why we didn’t believe John. But if we say it was merely human, the people will stone us because they are convinced John was a prophet.” So they finally replied that they didn’t know. And Jesus responded, “Then I won’t tell you by what authority I do these things.” – Luke 20:1-8
For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost. – Luke 19:10
Let all that you do be done in love – 1Cor 16:14
Only Jesus is
The problem might be US
Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. – Eph 4:1-3
Brothers and sisters, even if a person is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you are not tempted as well. – Gal 6:1
