Made To Win
October 27, 2024 / Pastor Joseph BritainWhen you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses, chariots, and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you. When you are approaching the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people. He shall say to them, “Hear, Israel, you are approaching the battle against your enemies today. Do not be fainthearted. Do not be afraid, or panic, or be terrified by them, for the Lord your God is the One who is going with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” – Deut 20:1-4
Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. – Josh 1:7 NLT

Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, that the Lord your God will put you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings will come to you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God: Blessed will you be in the city, and blessed will you be in the country. Blessed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, and the offspring of your animals: the newborn of your herd and the young of your flock. Blessed will be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed will you be when you come in, and blessed will you be when you go out. The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated by you; they will come out against you one way and will flee at your presence seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing for you in your barns and in everything that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. – Deut 28:1-8

“Let’s go across to the outpost of those pagans,” Jonathan said to his armor bearer. “Perhaps the Lord will help us, for nothing can hinder the Lord. He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few!” – 1Sam 14:6 NLT

For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us. – 2Cor 1:20
The yes to all of God’s promises is in Christ. And that is why we say “Amen” through Christ to the glory of God. – 2Cor 1:20 ERV
As it is written: “There is no righteous person, not even one” – Rom 3:10
The yes to all of God’s promises is in Jesus
