Choose Your Weapons

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. – 2Cor 10:3-5
We have a different plan

God not only gives us weapons, He chooses the timing of the battle.
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. – Luke 10:19
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. – Heb 4:12
The most important weapon in our tool box is prayer.
…The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much) – Jas 5:16b
Our prayer doesn’t force God’s hand – it releases His power.
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord – James 1:6-7
Keep the devil of your head
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will. – Rom 12:2
