Wildfire

When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly a noise like a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And tongues that looked like fire appeared to them, distributing themselves, and a tongue rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out. – Acts 2:1-4

🔥Wind + Fire =

“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.” – John 3:8

🔥There is no Church without the Holy Spirit’s

(Jesus speaking) “You are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high” – Luke 24:49b

The job of the Spirit of God is to make
the truth of God experiential in people’s lives

“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord – Zech 4:6b

My message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of mankind, but on the power of God. – 1Cor 2:4-5

🔥Two important

Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised – Acts 1:4a

When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. – Acts 2:1

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. – Acts 2:1 KJV

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, as on Aaron’s beard, the oil which ran down upon the edge of his robes. – Ps 133:1-2

But the Lord came down to look at the city and the tower the people were building. “Look!” He said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. Therefore, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them! – Gen 11:5-6

Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. – Eph 4:3 NLT

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. – 1Cor 1:10 NKJV
