Jesus’ and commands
Passing alongside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” And immediately they left their nets and followed Him. – Mark 1:16-18 ESV
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After saying this, He was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see Him. – Acts 1:8-9
Become
But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. – John 4:35b
Be in
For no one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws them to Me – John 6:44a
Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message – 2Cor 4:4a
So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when He adopted you as His own children. Now we call Him, “Abba, Father.” – Rom 8:15
Show them you
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. – Rom 5:8
Be ready to
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect – 1Pe 3:15 NIV
