Called To Courageous Compassion

For they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. As You sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. – John 17:14-18

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. – Php 2:5-7

When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like a sheep without a shepherd – Matt 9: 36

Where is the Christian’s holy anger?

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. – 2Tim 1:7
