Hunger for God

But as for me, the nearness of God is good for me – Ps 73:28a

Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ then the famine is in the city and we will die there; but if we sit here, we will also die. Now then come, and let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans. If they spare us, we will live; and if they kill us, then we will die.” – 2Ki 7:3-4

  Hunger is a fantastic

  Hunger will you 

Jesus speaking “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied” – Matt 5:6

  are we sitting here until we die?

Those killed by the sword are better off than those who die of hunger. Starving, they waste away for lack of food from the fields. – Lam 4:9 NLT

But when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired laborers have more than enough bread, but I am dying here from hunger!’ – Luke 15:17
