A Closer Walk

🔵It’s important for you to know God for yourself and not just a of Him

I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses, therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live.   Deut. 30:19

I know your (record of) works and what you are doing; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth.  Rev. 4:15-16

Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind) be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring (in fierce hunger) seeking someone to seize upon and devour. 1 Peter 5:8

🔵The Word of God

Every scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, (and) for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose and action). 2 Timothy 3:16-17

🔵The Word of God

Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

🔵The Word of God is

And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. Ephesians 6:17

🔵The Word of God is

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power (making it active, operative, energizing and effective); it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and (the immortal) spirit, and of joints and marrow (of the deepest parts of our nature), exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

🔵Your words create your

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it (for death or life). Proverbs 18:21

Truly I tell you, whoever says to the mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted you, and you will (get it). And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anybody, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your (own) failings and shortcomings and let them drop. But if you do not forgive, neither will you Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings. Mark 11:24-26

🔵It’s important for you to know your as a child of God

Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and (physical and mental strength and ability) over all the power that the enemy (possesses); and nothing in any way shall harm you. Luke 10:19

For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood (contending with only physical opponents), but against the despotisms, against the powers, against (the master spirits who are) the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Ephesians 6:12

And if we are (His) children, then we are (His) heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs Christ (sharing His inheritance with Him); only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. Romans 8:17
