Choose Generosity

June 22, 2025

Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” – Acts 20:35b

Being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, It is more blessed (makes one happier and more to be envied) to give than to receive – Acts 20:35b AMP

  No one ever becomes generous

Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods. And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!”’ – Luke 12:18-19

If you want to be generous when you have more,
learn to be generous when you have less

  Generous people to be generous

Generous people plan to do what is generous, and they stand firm in their generosity – Is 32:8

  It’s a question of and

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. – 2Cor 9:7-9

The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives – Deut 14:23b
