No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him. – 1Cor 2:9b

What did I LEARN about MYSELF in 2025?

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. – Jas 1:22-24

“Why should we sit here waiting to die?” – 2Ki 7:3b

God blesses those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled – Matt 5:6

Things of this world are going to be

Some time later, however, King Ben-hadad of Aram mustered his entire army and besieged Samaria. As a result, there was a great famine in the city. The siege lasted so long that a donkey’s head sold for eighty pieces of silver, and a cup of dove’s dung sold for five pieces of silver. One day as the king of Israel was walking along the wall of the city, a woman called to him, “Please help me, my lord the king!” He answered, “If the Lord doesn’t help you, what can I do? I have neither food from the threshing floor nor wine from the press to give you.” But then the king asked, “What is the matter?” She replied, “This woman said to me: ‘Come on, let’s eat your son today, then we will eat my son tomorrow.’ So we cooked my son and ate him. Then the next day I said to her, ‘Kill your son so we can eat him,’ but she has hidden her son.” – 2Ki 7:24-29

Those killed by the sword are better off than those who die of hunger. – Lam 4:9a

“Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will let Myself be found by you,” declares the Lord – Jer29:12-14a

He said, ‘How many of my father’s hired laborers have more than enough bread, but I am dying here from hunger! – Luke 15:17
